My Easter Experience
The past year and a half or so, I’ve been astonished at how God has been working in and through me, in and through CCk. He’s done incredible things (what’s new, right?), and this past Sunday wasn’t any different. I saw a loud, rocking band perform like professionals. I saw a choir leader and her choir sounding so precise, you’d swear they were hired. I saw my pastor preach from a stinking iPad, how cool is that? I saw close to 2500 people attend and most importantly, 49 people give their lives to the Lord. One of them was my piano players friend. One of them brought his whole family forward, he was invited by one of the background vocalists. My prayer is that this would never get old, stale, the “norm”. Peoples lives are in the balance. They’re being dangled over the depths of hell and God swoops in and rescues them. He comes to their rescue and says, “You know that hope you’ve been longing for? Well, here it is.” And all this is happening before our eyes. It’s incredible. As always, I’m looking forward to the perfect, flawless, powerful works our God is going to do. He is so capable, it’s not even funny.
