Sunday Morning Team Devo
This morning I shared a quick devo with my team before going on stage for our first service. I had read Psalm 9 and picked three quick points from the first two verses. Here’s how I broke it down:
“I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing the praises of Your name, O Most Hight.”
With All My Heart
When we step out on that stage, we’re gonna give it our all. We’re going to do everything with excellence. We’re going to worship Jesus with all that we have, which will in turn encourage the church to do so as well.
Tell Of Your Wonderful Deeds
We need to keep in mind that the songs we sing today are preaching the greatness of God. We tell of God’s wonderful deeds as we sing these songs. Some people here don’t know Jesus and they’re literally learning who He is through these songs. That’s a big deal.
I Will Be Glad
We’re not at a funeral. We need to believe that freedom is truly here when we sing it. We’re excited to be here, we want to be here. We’re more stoked than anyone to be doing this today, there’s no where else we’d rather be.
