100 Almost Free Ways to Appreciate Volunteers
Finally, taken from the Northpoint kids blog, 100 creative (and mostly free) ways to bless your volunteers. The furtherance of Gods kingdom happens on the backs of people sacrificing time and effort, weekends and family time, to instead serve on a ministry team. Bottom line, they need to be appreciated. And please throw the whole “don’t steal their reward in heaven” business out the window. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that someone’s reward in heaven will be forfeited if they are honored or appreciated. And the reality is, if volunteers don’t feel appreciated, the’ll often times leave and go somewhere else where they will be appreciated. Strive for team health and honor your volunteers!
